Schwartz and Peoples Architects (formerly Robert Schwartz Associates) is a small, creative, client-friendly firm, founded in 1975. Our projects include residential and religious buildings, health care facilities, and restaurants. We are skilled at adaptive re-use--from converting schools and churches into condos to making old houses into new offices, and working in historic districts like Kalorama and Georgetown.

Robert Schwartz and Keith Peoples work directly with clients on each project. They have experience in every phase of project development; this includes feasibility studies, site planning, landscape design, architectural design, and construction documents, obtaining permits and bids for construction, and contract administration.

The buildings you see on our site reflect the diversity of our clients. Our goal is to provide our clients with a building uniquely suited to their needs and tastes.
